Science & Technology Led Excellence for Inclusive Development
The Embassy of India would like to enclose a book titled “Science & Technology Led Excellence for Inclusive Development”, which is documented the landmark achievements of the past four years, published by the Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India, in two parts. India’s progress in the field of science and technology has been exponential during the last four years and the R&D work has addressed many of the problems the society is facing now.
The Ministry of Science & Technology (Department of Science & Technology and Department of Biotechnology and Council for Scientific and Industrial Research) and the Ministry of Earth Sciences working synergistically have aligned several of their programmes with the Government of India’s ambitious national missions such as Swachh Bharat, Swasth Bharat, Startup India, etc. These programs are designed to harness and growing knowledge of science and technology for the socio-economic and inclusive development of the country.
The Embassy is hopeful that you will find this publication presenting appropriate perspective of rapidly growing science and technology scenario in India.
