Celebration of the 5th International Day of Yoga in Norway (IDY 2019)

Just to inform that there will be four teachers this year to conduct the IDY 2019 event on 23rd June from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm at NIH.

Yoga teacher 1: Mr. Massimo Barberi

Mr. Massimo Barberi practices Yoga since 1991,he has worked as a professional yoga teacher for 18 years(In Italy and in Norway) . He has studied the Indian philosophies and the Yoga traditions both academically and participating to the Yoga Educators training of the institute AMAYE in Sweden and Germany(more than 500 hours).In 2011 he became also a certified Ayurveda therapist with the European Institute of Ayurveda(London).

Yoga teacher 2: Ms. Jenny Vågane

Ms. Jenny Vågane has been one of the main teachers of the International Day of Yoga event since 2015. She has been practicing Yoga since 2004, and she has her Yoga education from the “ Yoga School in Oslo”(more than 100 hours). Jenny teaches traditional yoga( Hatha Yoga), and owns and runs the yoga studio “Fri Yoga”. Jenny has started “Yoga in the Frogner Park”, where hundreds of yoga students gather and participate in yoga outside every summer.

Yoga teacher 3: Ms. Kamaldeep Banga

Ms. Kamaldeep has attained her post graduation diploma in yoga science from Morarji Desai National Institute of yoga, India (1000+ Hours). She has been working as a full-time yoga instructor in Oslo for the last 4 years teaching hundreds of classes.

Yoga teacher 4: Ms. Maria Fürst

Ms. Maria Fürst is a yoga teacher and runs a studio in her own name at Vinderen in Oslo. She teaches 11 classes a week, primarily dynamic Vinyasa yoga. She specializes in Therapeutic yoga, Barney yoga, Pregnant yoga, Yoga philosophy and sequencing. In 2017, she published the book "YOGA - Your Way to Balance, Flow and Strength". She is also ambassador for the yoga brand Run & Relax and influencer with her own blog at www.mariafurstyoga.com
