(Paryatan Parv – Tourism Festival)
The Embassy of India in Norway would like to inform that the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India in collaboration with other Central Ministries, State Governments and Stakeholders is celebrating a “Paryatan Parv” (Tourism Festival) across the country from the 16th to 27th September, 2018. The programme is being organized with the objective of drawing focus on the benefits of tourism, showcasing the cultural diversity of the country and reinforcing the principle of “Tourism for All”.
The idea of Paryatan Parv is also to propagate the message of ‘Dekho Apna Desh’ with the objective to encourage Indian diaspora to visit various tourist destinations of the country.
The Embassy would like to request all Indian nationals and Persons of India Origin living in Norway to travel India with a view to visit various tourist destinations during the event and make it a success. During the period, Ministry of Tourism will organise a number of tourism events across all States in the country. At the same time, we also request all Indian Associations/Organizations to promote Indian tourist destinations and encourage all Indian diaspora living in Norway to visit India during this celebration.
