Global Agriculture and Food Summit 2018

The Embassy of India in Norway would like to inform that the Department of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry & co-operative, Government of Jharkhand is organizing the “Global Agriculture & Food Summit 2018” from 29th -30th Nov 2018 at Ranchi, Jharkhand, India.
Jharkhand is working towards creating awareness among the investors in the agriculture and related sectors and taking a step forward to showcase and deliberate various investment opportunities. In its endeavour to develop agriculture sector in the State and establish Jharkhand as one of the prime investment destinations for Agriculture & Food Processing Sector globally, the Government of Jharkhand has taken various reformative steps. The government recognizes the fact that the agricultural growth in the fertile plains of Jharkhand can grow with effective steps and the State can take a leading position in the Agriculture and Food Processing Sector in the country.
The Summit would provide an opportunity to the prospective investors to understand the strengths of Jharkhand in agriculture sector and will mobilize key stakeholders. It invites policy makers, illustrious mentors, experts and practitioners from Agriculture Sector from across the globe, who will help inspire, equip and empower “Agripreneurs”. TheSummit will have a day of dynamic programming, serving mix of thematic presentation, Key notes, B2G meetings, B2B networking and breakout sessions.
