1st Global SEZ Expo & Convention 2019

The Embassy of India in Norway would like to inform that the Wbf International Centre for Service (WICS) is organizing the1st Global SEZ Expo & Convention 2019 from 12th -14th February at Jaipur Exhibition & Convention Centre (JECC), Jaipur, India.
The Government of India was one of the early adopters of the concept of Special Economic Zones (SEZ). With a view to attract large foreign investments, creating world class infrastructure and overcoming the plethora of controls & regulations and the onerous fiscal regimes, nations have taken to create SEZ/ EPZ/ FTZ etc. The Export Promotion Council for EOUs & SEZs (EPCES), Ministry of Commerce & Industry, and Government of India is collaborating for organizing this Expo.
With India poised to be the third largest global economy by 2030, a key policy of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (Government of India) is to establish Special Economic Zones (SEZs) in the country to:

Globally, the Special Economic Zones (SEZ) have proved to be effective instruments for promoting trade and industrialization, by way of attracting foreign direct investments (FDIs) in the manufacturing sector, creating jobs, enhancing exports and foreign exchange earnings.
