Emergency Visa service
In genuine emergency cases, the Embassy can be approached after office hours or on Holidays for emergency visa services.
Procedure for submitting application for emergency visa:
(i) The visa application must be filled online at https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/visa/index.html
(ii) After filling the online visa application, applicant must take a printout of the visa application and attach all relevant documents.
(iii) Applicant may contact the Embassy of India, Oslo, in the Emergency number - +47 91396687, and the applicant will be redirected to relevant visa officer.
(iv) Visit the Embassy after obtaining any time of appointment given by the visa officer.
Procedure for Minor Applicants
(i) In case of minor applicants, following documents are required viz. birth certificate, self-attested copies of parent’s passport, Marriage certificate of parents.
(ii) A consent form for travel must be submitted duly signed by both the parents. Either of the parents should be accompanying the minor child while travelling.
(iii) A minor’s application form can be signed either by one of the parents or both.
(iv) Custody order from a Court will be required if the parents are legally separated.
Fee details:
In addition to the regular visa fee, an emergency service fee of 380 NOK, has to be paid by the applicant. The regular visa fee can be checked at the following link - https://www.indianembassyoslo.gov.in/page/visa-fee/
Instructions:
(i) Please be advised that the Emergency visa services are rendered only at the Embassy and applicants must come personally for collecting visa. The Embassy does not recognize or encourage middleman or agents or third party to handle visa applications.
(ii) Only the following category of visa can be applied under Emergency visa service viz. Business, Medical, Medical attendant, Conference, Transit and Entry.
(iii) In case of incomplete documentation/requirement for requisite documentation, the Embassy reserves the right NOT to grant the visa.
Note:
In case of death or serious illness of an immediate family member (spouse, father, mother, children, children’s spouse, grandchildren or their spouses, sibling or their spouse) in India, please provide supporting documents as evidence from India, like death certificate/ hospital certificate duly stamped, and proof of relationship, while applying for Visa.
(No emergency visa fee will be levied in the aforementioned case)
