ENTRY VISA
The visa category is for applicants who is/are:-
i. A person of Indian origin (X-1).
ii. Spouse and children of a person of Indian nationality or origin (X-1).
iii. Applicants coming to join Auroville Foundation / Sri Aurobindo Ashram, Puducherry / Missionaries of Charity, Kolkata / similar approved organizations, temples and foreign Buddhist monks coming to join Buddhist Monasteries/other Buddhist organizations for charity work (X-2).
iv. Foreigners owning property in India (X-Misc).
Instructions:
• e-visa facility is not available for X entry visa.
• Please apply for regular paper visa at the Embassy.
• In addition to the general instructions mentioned above, relevant document needs to be enclosed while submitting visa application.
• Please write to

[email protected] clearly elucidating your visa request and the Embassy will guide you with the exact list of documents which needs to be submitted with the visa application.
1. General requirements:
a. Visa Application form (No column to be left unfilled) duly signed along with recent photograph pasted at the designated space. Please also upload your recent photograph on the website while filling up the form.It is a mandatory requirement to ensure that your photo is 2 inch x 2 inch (51mm x 51mm) in size with white background for pasting in the application form. Photos which do not meet this specification will not be accepted.
b. Copy of foreign passport valid for a minimum period of six months.and original for
verification,
c. Passport to be valid for a minimum period of six months.
d. Bank Guarantee Certificate of minimum amount of NOK 1,50,000 or last 6
months of bank statement showing a minimum balance of NOK 1,50,000.
