THERE IS NO TATKAAL SERVICE FOR ISSUE/REISSUE OF PASSPORT.

- Registration of Birth of a Minor child at an Indian Consulate https://indiancitizenshiponline.nic.in/ Click on Registration of Birth of a Minor Child at an Indian Consulate Under Section 4(1)of the Citizenship Act, 1955 . Form has to be filled online, printed and signed by both parents.
- Two (2) recent photograph, (5 x 5 cm) one to be pasted in square box on first page of the application form and one to be attached.
- Annexure D / Annexure C- http://www.indianembassyoslo.gov.in/page/forms-download/ ( Use Annexure D when declaration is made by both Parents.Use Annexure C in case one parent has not given consent for issue of passport)
- Declaration by both parents that the minor child does not hold the passport of any other country- https://www.indianembassyoslo.gov.in/page/forms-download/
- Front and last page of father's current passport
- Front and last page of mother's current passport
- Father's residence permit front and back side
- Mother's residence permit front and back side In case resident permit has expired or going to expire, please submit letter/email from UDI mentioning that application for renewal of Residence permit has been submitted.
- Child's birth certificate in English with name of child and Parents, Place of Birth, Date of Birth and all other relevant details.
- Parents marriage certificate,if marriage certificate has been issued from any other country than India, It should be in English, notarised and Apostilled.
Provide copy of any one of the following as proof of residential address
- Address page of either parents valid passports
- Aadhaar card of either parent
- Electricity/utility bill issued by state government in either parents name

Noteworthy points
Ø In case of new born, please put left hand thumb impression of the applicant on the first page of online application in the rectangular space and either parent has to sign on the last page in the rectangular space provided.
Ø Passport printable address has to be Indian address.
Ø While filling up online application form. please do not put Norwegian address in Passport printable address, in the field of other address details, Norwegian address may be incorporated.
Ø The Embassy reserves the right to call for additional documents as considered necessary.
Processing time: 4-6 weeks. However, it may be expected early.
