Police Clearance Certificate (PCC)

Before you proceed to the desired service, you may consider the following registrations, if applicable

  1. Registration of Overseas Indians and Persons of Indian Origin in Norway - https://www.indianembassyoslo.gov.in/register.php
  2. Registration of Indian Academicians & Indian students in Norway - https://www.indianembassyoslo.gov.in/student_register.php

The applicant has to be physically present in the Embassy of India, Oslo for submission of documents. Regarding appointment, e mail may please be sent to [email protected]

Eligible Indian nationals can do online registration for applying for PCC. Use Internet Explorer Browser for doing Online Registration.

Steps to be followed:

  1. Open https://portal3.passportindia.gov.in/Online/index.htmlon internet;
  2. Register by clicking on "Register" Link. Select "Norway-Oslo" in the box against Indian Mission;
  3. Login with the registered login ID and Password on "User Login" link
  4. In the Applicant Home Page, click on "Apply for Police Clearance Certificate " link to file a new application.

After filling up online application, a print-out / hard copy of the application along with the self-attested copies of all requisite documents (as mentioned in the checklist given below) is required to be submitted directly at the Embassy . Submission of application at the Embassy requires prior appointment. Request for appointment can be sent via email [email protected]

Checklist:

  1. Copy of Indian passport (Please note that the passport also needs to be submitted in original for verification)
  2. Copy of Residence permit front and back side
  3. Two recent photographs (5X5 CM)

Please note that PCC will only be issued after receipt of fresh police verification on the PCC application. Hence applicants are advised to apply for PCC well ahead of time.
