The Embassy of India in association with Vishva Hindu Parishad Norway is organizing an informative meeting in connection with the World Hindu Congress to be held in Chicago from 7th to 9th September, 2018, to commemorate 125 years of Swami Vivekananda's historic Chicago address on September 11, 1893. The theme of the World Hindu Congress 2018 will be "Sumantrite Suvikrante" -- think collectively, achieve valiantly.
As you may be aware, the World Hindu Congress (WHC) is a global platform for Hindus to connect, share ideas, inspire one another, and impact the common good. It offers Hindus an opportunity to introspect towards improvement and tap into our collective resources to seek tangible solutions to the most pressing issues of our age. Held once every four years, WHC’s seven parallel conferences showcase how the values, creativity and entrepreneurial spirit of the global Hindu community find expression in a variety of spheres, including economic, education, media, organizational and political as well as the unique leadership and contributions of Hindu women and youth.
I, along with other speakers, will be providing detailed information about the World Hindu Congress 2018.
In view of the above, it is my pleasure to invite you and your colleagues / friends to participate at the meeting on Friday, 11th May, 2018 at 4.00pm at the Embassy premises.
