As you are aware, the Government of India organizes a 3-week orientation programme for diaspora youth (aged between 18 and 30 years) - Know India Programme, details of which are as under.  The Embassy of India will appreciate if this information could kindly be disseminated to all your members and contacts with a request to encourage our diaspora youth to participate in the KIP and register themselves at the earliest.

The Embassy of India would like to inform that the Government of India has sought nominations of participants for the  49th, 51st and 52nd Editions of “Know India Programme” (KIP), details of which are as under: -

We would like to inform that the Government of India has decided to conduct a “Special Edition of Know India Programme” to mark the Golden Jubilee Edition of KIP, in place of regular 50th Edition of KIP, in which 49 candidates will be selected from amongst the candidates, who have already attended any of the 49 Editions of KIP.

 As you may be aware, “Know India Programme” (KIP) of the Ministry of External Affairs is a three-week orientation programme for diaspora youth (aged between 18 years and  30 years) conducted with a view to promote awareness on different facets of life in India and the progress made by the country in various fields e.g. economic, industrial, education, science & technology, communication Information Technology, Culture.  KIP provides a unique forum for students & young professionals of Indian origin to visit India, share their views, expectations & experiences and to develop closer bonds with the contemporary India.

Those who are interested can login on the KIP portal www.kip.gov.in and register for the 49th, 51st and 52nd Editions of KIP. All information regarding registration, application and guidelines are available on the website.
