India's Response to COVID-19

India, a country of 1.3 billion people, has been able to contain the COVID-19 cases to a manageable limit even after 10 weeks with detailed management strategy and well executed plan under the most able leadership of Prime Minister of India. Government of India adopted pre-emptive preventive actions and awareness campaigns from the beginning of the pandemic. As a result, the pandemic has been contained geographically with negligible community transmission.
