Bharat Ko Janiye Quiz (BKJ Quiz)

As you are aware, ‘Bharat Ko Janiya (BKJ) Quiz is for the Indian diaspora youth across the world between the age of 15 and 35 years. The Embassy of India would like to request all Indian Organizations/Associations to encourage our youth to participate in the BKJ Quiz.
- First round of BKJ Quiz test will open for the contestants From 16-31 October, 2018;
- The date for registration process is extended till 15th November, 2018;
- The Quiz will be held online; for this purpose the portal www.bharatkojaniye.in can be accessed from anywhere;
- To take part in online Quiz, the participants are required to complete online registration at portal www.bharatkojaniye.in
- There is no entry fee for participation;
- The entire quiz will be organized in 4 rounds;
- Top 10 finalists in each category (PIO & NRI) will be invited to visit India for 15-day tour.
- Finally top 3 winners will be awarded Gold/Silver/Bronze medals.

Bharat Ko Janiye Quiz
The Embassy of India would like to inform that the Government of India is organizing the 2nd edition of ‘Bharat Ko Janiya (BKJ) Quiz for the Indian diaspora youth across the world. It is open for the Indian diaspora between the age of 15 and 35 years. The quiz is being conducted to motivate overseas Indian youth to enhance their knowledge about India. Bharat Ko Janiye Quiz is being held for two distinct categories of NRI and PIO/OCI. Topics of the Quiz include – Indian Art, Indian Democracy, Economy, Geography, Personalities in Music and Dance, Science & Technology, Languages & Literature, Education, Tradition of Indian Crafts, Indian Cinema, and Renowned Personalities.
As the first round of BKJ Quiz is held online, and the portal
www.bharatkojaniye.in can be accessed from anywhere, participants are required to answer 30 multiple choice questions in 25 minutes. To take part in online Quiz, the participants are required to complete online registration at portal
www.bharatkojaniye.in There is no entry fee for participation and the top three winners from each category would be given Gold, Silver and Bronze medals at the Mission level. The top three winners from each category would be participating in 2nd, 3rd and 4th rounds and the final 20 participants (10 finalists in each category) would be given 15 days’ orientation programme including a visit to Lakshadweep and Agra at Government expenditure. The top three winners of each category would be given Gold, Silver and Bronze medals at the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas Convention to be held in January 2019.
As mentioned above, the entire quiz will be organized in 4 rounds. The first and second round would be conducted online. The third and fourth round (semi final and final round) would be organized onsite in New Delhi. Top 10 finalists in each category (PIO & NRI) will be selected on the basis of marks secured in second round and they will be invited to participate in the third round (Semi final) and fourth round (Final round) in New Delhi. All participants, who are invited for onsite round would attend the workshop in New Delhi and participate in the Bharat ko Janiye Yatra, a 15 day tour of India.
After Yatra, final onsite round will be held in New Delhi and top 3 winners will be awarded Gold/Silver/Bronze medals.
