4th Edition of International Exhibition and Conference

The Embassy of India in Norway would like to inform that Ministry of Steel, Government of India with Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) is organising the 4th edition of International Exhibition & Conference on Steel Industry – ‘INDIA STEEL EXPO 2019’from January 22-24, 2019 at Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai, India.
India Steel Expo 2019 will provide an opportunity to International Steel Producers and Technology Companies to showcase their equipment, latest technology and their best practices through Live demonstrations in 12,000 sq. meters of exhibition area. This will also extend an excellent platform to buyers, sellers, technology providers, manufacturers, traders, importers, investors and other allied organizations/ institutions from Steel industry to interact and develop business relationship with Indian steel industry.
The organizers can also facilitate Country Pavilion with participation of major steel sector corporations. A Reverse Buyer Seller Meet (RBSM) is planned during India Steel Expo 2019 where more than 300 Foreign Buyers from Africa, CIS, Middle East, Developing Asia including SAARC and other important regions will be invited and hosted by the FICCI. B-2-B and B-2-G meetings will be held during the RBSM to develop business linkages, collaborations and for exploring possibilities in different areas of the steel sector.
The event is to showcase the latest products, technology, machinery and equipment, applications and developments in the Indian Steel Industry besides disseminating knowledge and information about the development and best practices in analysis, design and construction methodology pertaining to steel and mining. During the event, inter-linkages of mining and steel and the mining developments that can impact the Indian Steel Industry would be highlighted. The event will also give opportunity to understand global steel markets and identifying opportunities in Indian steel supply chain and logistics.
International Steel Industry representatives and buyers under different categories can apply for an invitation to join the event as a Hosted Foreign Buyer by registering online at http://indiasteelexpo.in/hosted_buyer_registration.php. Successfully hosted delegates may be reimbursed the cost of economy air fares (return tickets) by the shortest route (airfares up to USD 700 can be covered) as well as the cost of a 5-star hotel accommodation for 3 nights in India (near the event venue). The final selection / shortlisting will be done by the FICCI Screening Committee.
